Job Summary
With the expansion in the organizations operations, there is need to strengthen the fleet and logistics system by the introduction of the Senior Fleet and Logistics Officer role. This position is to provide support in the Fleet and Logistics unit, by carryout out in-depth reconciliation of vehicle usage, fleet data analysis, support in the management of vehicle lease and driver outsource arrangements. The role is also to contribute in ensuring goods are distributed using the most cost-efficient method.
Key Responsibilities
This position exists to provide support in the fleet and logistics function. The Senior Fleet and Logistics Officer will be responsible for:
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Essential: Considerable (4 - 6 years) full-time professional-level experience involving the Fleet and Logistics management. The use of Vehicle tracking and fleet management system.
Desirable: Knowledge and experience in a health/medical or INGO organizations; experience in working in donor funded programmes.
Essential: The use of Vehicle tracking system and fleet management system, knowledge of ERP packages (Tally) will be an advantage, MS Office programs and professional certification in view.
The Senior Fleet and Logistics Officer should have the following skill sets: communication, active listening and learning, coordination, judgment and decision making, organization, time management, writing, service orientation, negotiation, and mathematics
