Job Summary
This position exists to provide support to the procurement team in the Support Office. The Procurement Officer is to ensure proper specification management, samples are approved by the appropriate staff before final production. He/she is to manage terms of contract with vendors and ensure deliveries are timely and planned with Inventory/user department with all relevant documentation eg quality assurance are properly signed.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Essential: Considerable (2 - 3 years) full-time professional-level experience involving the Procurement and Logistics. Working on procurement transactions, experience in vendor management.
Desirable: Knowledge and experience in a health/medical or INGO organizations; experience in working in donor funded programmes.
Essential: Procurement and Supply Chain, knowledge of ERP packages (Tally) will be an advantage, MS Office programs and professional certification in view.
The Procurement Officer should have the following skill sets: communication, active listening and learning, coordination, judgment and decision making, organization, time management, writing, service orientation, negotiation, and mathematics
