 About this role

The regional finance assistant will support the regional finance officers in carrying out various finance operations and inventory functions across the region towards achieving MSION goals and objectives.

  

 Responsibilities: 

  • Reviewing, coding and payment of third-party, vendors, and staff payment requests.
  • Reviewing, coding and payment of training allowances and bills.
  • Update and monitor payment and expenditure tracker
  • Utilize designated regional email accounts to receive payment requests and retirements, review for accuracy and completeness before downloading for further treatment by line manager
  • Treat monthly advances and retirements in accordance with the policy
  • Review stock requisition form and assists in issuance and distribution of commodities and/or consumables to team members and local distributors
  • Monitor and update the bin card with movement of stock. Log all incoming stock items
  • Assist in conducting month-end, quarterly and year-end stock count exercise
  • Update store temperature log
  • Support RFOs on all statutory obligations such as tax remittance and tax filing. Save all receipts and returns documents appropriately
  • Any other roles assigned by line manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience & Skill: 

  • One Year Post NYSC experience in Finance related field.
  • First Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance
  • Student Member of ICAN is an added advantage
