Description

Marie Stopes Nigeria (MSN) is a results-orientated non-Governmental organisation, which uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide family planning and other reproductive healthcare clinical services in underserved communities. MSN’s goal is to dramatically improve access to family planning and related reproductive health services to reduce maternal mortality and ultimately poverty in Nigeria

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Regional Finance Officer to Collate cash requests and retirements from team Members.
  • Carry out preliminary review of cash requests/retirements documentation submitted by team members.
  • Follow up with line managers and regional manager/budget holder to ensure timely approval of payment vouchers & retirements.
  • Assist the Regional Finance officer to remit every statutory deduction for the region – WHT, PAYE, etc.
  • Assist the Regional Finance officer to scan every document that requires support office approval for timely processing.
  • Participate in weekly/monthly team review meetings.
  • Ensure expenses/retirements are properly stamped, filed and arranged into the regional office’s shelf
  • Any other task assigned by Line Manager, Regional Manager and any other superior officer.

Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • B.Sc./HND/OND in Accounting or related courses.
  • 1- 2 years’ experience in a similar support with a private or public organisation
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
  • A good team player with interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, manage workload and support the production of high quality, on-time work and report.
